Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Clinic Oncology for a travel nursing job in Bozeman, MT. You will provide outpatient clinic nursing care, support to physicians, and maintain efficient patient flow in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of clinic experience, current BLS, and licensure eligibility, with chemo certification preferred. This is a travel assignment with 13 weeks duration, 40 hours per week, 8 hour days, and a busy outpatient environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year clinic/outpatient RN experience
• Current BLS certification
• Eligible for state licensure
• Chemo certification may be required

Responsibilities

• Take patient histories, vital signs, and assessments
• Administer medications, injections, and vaccinations
• Assist providers with minor procedures and tests
• Educate patients on treatment plans and medications
• Perform wound care and basic lab work
• Monitor patient progress and communicate concerns to providers
• Document nursing care and patient interactions
• Coordinate patient flow and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked
• Follow infection control and HIPAA regulations
• Support scheduling and administrative duties as needed
