HealthForce Healthcare seeks an Occupational Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Start date: October 12, 2026.

The position guarantees 35 hours per week with a consistent 08:00-16:30 shift in a skilled nursing facility, supporting residents’ daily living and safety. You will conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve function and independence.

Qualifications

• OT license in the United States (assumed)
• Availability for a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed 35 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for residents to identify functional needs and goals
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve ADLs, mobility, cognition, and safety
• Provide evidence-based OT interventions and re-evaluate progress to adjust plans as needed
• Document assessments, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge planning per regulatory and facility standards
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate resident care
• Educate residents and families on adaptive equipment, home safety strategies, and caregiver support to promote independence
