Responsibilities

The Occupational Therapist / OT is responsible for assessing referred patients that require rehabilitation services, providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, restrictions, and potential for rehabilitation.

Also, the Occupational Therapist / OT will establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance.

• Develop a plan of care for each occupational therapy patient.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of occupational therapy interventions.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
