Job summary

Preferred Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel job in Hilo, Hawaii. This outpatient OT position starts ASAP for 13 weeks, with 40 hours per week and 8-hour shifts at a healthcare facility in Hilo.

You will assess and treat patients, create individualized treatment plans, and document progress while working with a supportive team. Eligible candidates hold an active OT license and CPR/BLS, with at least 6 months of OT experience in the last 5 years.

Qualifications

• Active state license as an Occupational Therapist.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• 6 months of OT experience within the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Assess functional needs and set appropriate goals for the patient.
• Reassess patient functional needs and adjust care plan as indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document evaluations and occupational therapy treatment goals and plans.
• Utilize resources and materials in an efficient and safe manner.
• Perform all duties promptly in a competent and caring manner.
