Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Travel Occupational Therapist for an ongoing assignment in Medford, Oregon. The OT will evaluate patients, develop care plans, and implement therapeutic activities to improve daily living skills in an acute care setting.

Requirements include BLS, NBCOT-OTR, and state licensure; 6 months of experience required, with 1 year preferred. Travel responsibilities include 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, and a stipend subject to confirmation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months OT experience; new grads considered.
• BLS certification and NBCOT-OTR with state license required.
• Proficient knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop a plan of care to improve daily living activities.
• Create a treatment plan with specific goals and activities to meet those goals.
• Assess home or workplace for improvements and accessibility needs.
• Educate patients, families, and employers on care and accommodation strategies.
• Recommend equipment and instruct on its use.
• Document progress and maintain timely records following guidelines.
