Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a Long Term Care setting in Norman, Oklahoma. This 13-week assignment offers 40 hours per week, day shifts, and no weekends. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL disorders and develop care plans.
• Provide rehabilitative and skilled treatment including ADL retraining, exercises, and modalities.
• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to guide interventions.
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Provide consultation to patients, families, caregivers and other providers.
• Document all required information in the electronic records and maintain accuracy.
• Supervise OT assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students as needed.
• Adhere to NBCOT and state practice acts and code of ethics.
• No more than 7 days of RTO may be requested.
