TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for an immediate travel opening in Jackson, WY. OT responsibilities include evaluating and developing plans of care for patients in acute care settings, with a focus on improving daily living skills.

The role requires 1 year of experience (6 months may be considered), BLS and NBCOT-OTR with state licensing. Stand/walk for long periods; knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and NBCOT-OTR National Certification with state-specific licensing.
• OTs should be able to stand and walk for long periods and have knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsabilités

• Review patients' medical history and observe them performing tasks.
• Evaluate patient condition and needs.
• Develop and implement a care plan with specific goals and activities.
• Assist patients in performing tasks and adapting to home or workplace environments.
• Educate families and employers on accommodations and care needs.
• Document patient progress and billings in accordance with guidelines.
