Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel assignment in Hilo, Hawaii. The OT will evaluate patients, develop plans of care, and implement therapy to improve daily living skills in the acute care setting.

Requirements include at least 6 months of OT experience (new grads considered), BLS, NBCOT-OTR certification, and state licensing. This 26-week travel role offers 40 hours per week and 8-hour day shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of OT experience; new grads may apply.
• BLS certification and NBCOT-OTR with state license required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and interpret medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop plans of care to improve daily living skills.
• Create treatment plans and set specific goals for therapy sessions.
• Document progress and communicate with physicians and care teams.
• Educate family and employers on accommodations and home/work safety.
• Assess home/work environments for potential improvements.
