Job summary

Thrive Staffing is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 26-week assignment in Hilo, Hawaii. The role involves 40 hours per week, dayshift, and a travel schedule; start date noted on the posting.

You will provide coverage in Rehabilitation and Acute Rehabilitation settings, evaluating and re-evaluating patients, and implementing ongoing therapeutic programs as prescribed by physicians. The OT will maintain and update treatment plans, manage a full caseload, and navigate insurance

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient and acute settings, specifically with adults.
• Current Hawaii State Occupational Therapist license is required by the start of the assignment.
• BLS certification from the American Red Cross is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and re-evaluate patients as necessary.
• Plan and implement therapeutic programs based on physician prescriptions.
• Regularly update treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Independently manage a full caseload.
• Knowledge of insurance authorization processes for re-evaluations.
• Holiday coverage may be required.
