Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent Occupational Therapist experience.
• Must hold all required Occupational Therapist certifications and licenses as mandated by Alaska and national regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' functional, cognitive, and daily-living needs and establish individualized treatment plans and goals
• Deliver occupation-based interventions that rebuild independence in self-care, home, and daily activities
• Recommend and train patients on adaptive equipment, energy-conservation techniques, and home and activity modifications
• Reassess progress and adjust each plan of care as patients advance, directing and collaborating with Occupational Therapy Assistants and the interdisciplinary team
