Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Bend, Oregon. The OT will evaluate patients, create care plans, and help patients regain daily living skills in an acute care setting. Requires NBCOT-OTR, BLS, and licensing; 6 months minimum experience, with new grads welcomed.

Position features 30 hours/week, 8-hour shifts, days, travel employment type, and a tax-free stipend may apply. Immediate start for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and NBCOT-OTR National Certification with state licensing.
• 1 Year experience noted; travel OT role.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history and observe tasks.
• Evaluate patient condition and needs.
• Develop a plan of care with goals and activities.
• Assist patients in performing tasks and improving daily living skills.
• Assess home/work environment and recommend improvements.
• Educate family and employer on care needs.
• Recommend equipment and instruct use.
• Document progress for evaluations and billing.
