Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Carlisle, PA. The OTA will work 30 hours per week, with 8-hour daytime shifts, traveling as needed and reporting to an on-site OT.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• The ideal candidate must hold a current BLS and NBCOT (COTA) certification.
• State-specific licensure is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic activities and interventions as directed by the supervising OT.
• Monitor patient progress and report observations to the OT to support treatment plan adjustments.
• Document patient performance and progress accurately and in a timely manner per facility and state guidelines.
• Assist patients with exercises, mobility training, and use of adaptive equipment.
• Educate patients and families on techniques to improve independence in daily activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated care.
• Comply with state licensing rules and adhere to facility and professional standards.
