TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist Assistant for a travel assignment in Aspermont, Texas. The OTAs provide therapy services under supervision, deliver activities, monitor progress, and document outcomes while helping patients regain independence.

The role requires 1 year of OTA experience, current BLS, NBCOT (COTA), and state licensure. Travel position with 14-week duration, 40 hours/week, days shift, and 8-hour blocks. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year of OTA experience required.
• Current BLS and NBCOT (COTA) certification.
• State-specific licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic activities and interventions as directed by supervising OT.
• Monitor patient progress and report observations to OT.
• Document patient performance accurately and timely.
• Assist patients with exercises, mobility training, and use of adaptive equipment.
• Educate patients and families on independence in daily activities.
• Maintain treatment areas and equipment; collaborate with care team.
• Comply with licensing rules and facility standards.
