Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel assignment in Fremont, California. The OTA will work 36 hours per week with a 8-hour days shift, starting 11/30/2026 for 13 weeks, with immediate placement.

Candidates must have 1 year of OTA experience, BLS, NBCOT (COTA) certification, and state licensure. Travel compensation includes weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• The ideal candidate must hold a current BLS and COTA National certification.
• State-specific licensure is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic activities and interventions as directed by the supervising OT.
• Monitor patient progress and report observations to the OT to support treatment plan adjustments.
• Document patient performance and progress accurately and in a timely manner per facility and state guidelines.
• Assist patients with exercises, mobility training, and use of adaptive equipment.
• Educate patients and families on techniques to improve independence in daily activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated care.
• Comply with state licensing rules and adhere to facility and professional standards.

We're looking for Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) for an immediate travel opening in Fremont, CA. The right OTA should have 1 year experience.
