American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist with 1+ year experience for a Critical Access Hospital, covering outpatient, acute care, and long-term care/swing bed patients.

Details

• Small, 46-bed Critical Access Hospital setting
• Covers outpatient, acute care, and LTC/swing bed units
• Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
• No weekend requirements
• No call requirements
• Must be willing to float within scope across outpatient, acute care, and LTC to meet facility needs
• Epic charting system used

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• BLS certification required
• NBCOT certification required
• Active AK state license required (license required if applicable)
• Epic EMR experience required
• First-time travelers accepted

Additional Information

• Treat diverse patient populations including pediatric and orthopedic cases
• Utilize modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, TENS, biofeedback, and cardiac rehabilitation
• Experience with prosthetics and orthotics, including splinting and fitting, may be required
• Any scrub color accepted
• Must be willing to float between sister facilities as needed
• Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays
• RTO requests must be submitted upfront during the application process
• Local candidates not accepted; must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Returning staff eligible to reapply after 3 months, provided they are not within 50 miles of the facility
• Facility-provided housing available, typically 1-bedroom apartments (may be shared)
