TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel job in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

Overview

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist (OT) for an immediate travel opening in Fort Dodge, IA. OT should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history, ask questions, and observe patients performing tasks.
• Evaluate a patient\'s condition and needs.
• Develop a treatment plan with specific goals and activities to help the patient improve daily living skills.
• Support patients with various disabilities to perform tasks.
• Evaluate a patient\'s home or workplace and identify potential improvements based on health needs.
• Educate a patient\'s family and employer about how to accommodate and care for the patient.
• Recommend special equipment and instruct patients on how to use it.
• Assess and record patient activities and progress for evaluations, billing, and reporting to physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.

Requirements
