Thrive Staffing is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel job in Pahala, Hawaii. The position runs for 26 weeks with 40 hours per week and a standard 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Job Description

Occupational Therapists are needed for acute and rehab coverage. Responsibilities include evaluating and re-evaluating assigned patients, either in outpatient or inpatient settings. The therapist will plan and implement ongoing therapeutic programs as prescribed by the ordering physician. Regular updates to treatment plans and home exercise programs are expected, along with the independent management of a full caseload.

Candidates must demonstrate knowledge about performing re-evaluations based on insurance authorization and maintain flexibility to work during Hawaii State and Federal Holidays as necessary. A valid Hawaii state license must be obtained prior to the start of the assignment.

Equipment Utilization

Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Net Health Therapy and Meditech, is required.

Required Skills

Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years' experience working with adults in outpatient and acute settings.

Licensure and Certification

A current Hawaii state license and BLS certification from the American Red Cross are mandatory.

Holiday Coverage

Holiday coverage is required.
