Job Description

The Occupational Therapist will work in an acute care department supporting patients across the hospital. Responsibilities include providing therapy to a diverse patient population experiencing a range of medical and surgical diagnoses, including ICU patients, stroke/neurological conditions, orthopedics, and general debility. The Occupational Therapist will follow physician orders to deliver evaluations, treatment plans, and interventions to aid patient recovery.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and create individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy interventions according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document patient progress in the One Chart – Cerner system.
