Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing seeks a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Madison, North Carolina. This full-time travel role requires 40 hours per week, with days and a typical 8-hour shift. Start date is 10/12/2026 and ongoing credentialing will be supported by the agency.

The OT will provide direct patient care, develop and monitor treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited OT program.
• Must hold a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and have passed the NBCOT exam.
• Minimum one year of professional working experience.
• Current state license as an OT or in the licensure process.
• Current CPR certification.
• Other requirements to be determined by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation and provide direct care.
• Establish and administer treatment programs with goals based on patient capacity.
• Develop a plan of care for each OT patient.
• Provide skilled OT services in line with physician orders.
• Assess needs, plan, evaluate and modify care to meet goals.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals.

Responsibilities

• The Occupational Therapist / OT is responsible for the assessment of referred patients that require rehabilitation services which includes: providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation.
• Also, the Occupational Therapist / OT will establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance.
• Develops a plan of care for each occupational therapy patient.
• Provides skilled occupational therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plans for, evaluates and modifies care to meet goals of occupational therapy interventions.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
