TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Clancy, MT. The OT will evaluate and develop plans of care for diverse patients in acute care settings.

Requirements include 6 months of experience (new grads welcome), BLS and NBCOT-OTR certification, and the ability to stand/walk long periods. Travel and 40-hour weeks. Opportunity to travel and contribute to patient care.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
• BLS and NBCOT-OTR National Certification with state-specific licensing.
• Occupational Therapists should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, and bend or stoop as needed.
• OTs must have sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history, ask questions, and observe them performing tasks.
• Evaluate a patient's condition and needs.
• Develop a treatment plan for patients with specific goals and activities.
• Help people with various disabilities perform different tasks.
• Evaluate a patient's home or workplace and identify potential improvements.
• Educate a patient's family and employer on accommodating and caring for the patient.
• Recommend special equipment and instruct patients on use of equipment.
• Assess and record patient's activities and progress for evaluations, billing, and reporting to physicians.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist (OT) for an immediate travel opening in Clancy, MT. OT should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted. Read below for additional requirements.As an OT, you will be responsible for the evaluation and development of a plan of care for a variety of patients needing to improve, regain and develop skills needed for daily life. You will work in disabled, ill or injured patient populations in the acute care setting.

Tasks
