Job Summary

Occupational Therapist, Occupational Therapist Inpatient. This position provides occupational therapy services across pediatric, inpatient, and outpatient settings. The role supports patients with orthopedic, neurological, medical, lymphedema, mental health, and post-surgical needs while requiring independent clinical judgment, collaboration, and strong communication skills.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Minnesota occupational therapy license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; at least two years of occupational therapy experience; pediatric experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) preferred; three to four years of experience preferred.
• Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour shifts, and 40 hours per week; scheduling may be flexible across four or five days per week, with an end time of 4:30 p.m.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include providing occupational therapy services in outpatient and inpatient settings; treating orthopedic upper-extremity conditions, lymphedema, total joint replacements, general medical conditions, neurological impairments, and mental health conditions; applying physical-agent modalities; using durable medical equipment and adaptive equipment; fabricating or modifying upper-extremity splints; performing wheelchair evaluations; and collaborating effectively while working independently with clinical skills and problem-solving. Professional casual attire or scrubs are permitted. Unit-specific orientation includes one shift, with flexibility as needed.
