Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a Travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Laurel, Montana. The OT will assess referred patients, develop treatment plans, and provide skilled therapy services in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, NBCOT, one year of experience, current state OT license or license-application in progress, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited school.
• Must hold a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and have passed the NBCOT exam.
• Minimum one year of professional working experience
• Current state license as an Occupational Therapist / OT or actively pursuing licensure in the current state
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation and provide direct patient care.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with goals based on patient capacity.
• Develop plan of care for each OT patient.
• Provide skilled OT services/interventions per physician orders.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to meet patient goals.

Duties Responsibilities

The Occupational Therapist / OT is responsible for the assessment of referred patients that require rehabilitation services which includes: providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation.

Also, the Occupational Therapist / OT will establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance

• Develops a plan of care for each occupational therapy patient.
• Provides skilled occupational therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assesses patient needs, plans for, evaluates and modifies care to meet goals of occupational therapy interventions.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
