Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Sterling, Illinois. The role requires 1 year of experience (6 months considered for exceptional candidates) and a focus on acute care settings with patient-centered goal planning.

OT will evaluate and develop plans of care, educate families, and document progress per regulations. 35 hours weekly, 8-hour days, travel allowance details to be confirmed.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Strong documentation and charting skills.
• Proficiency in assessment and planning of OT interventions.

Responsibilities

• Review medical history and observe patients during tasks.
• Evaluate patient condition and identify needs.
• Develop and monitor a care plan with specific goals and activities.
• Educate patient and family on home adaptations and equipment.
• Assess home/work environment for safety and accessibility.
• Provide timely documentation per state and payer guidelines.
