Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Walla Walla, Washington. The role is full-time with a 40-hour work week and an 8-hour shift.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, be NBCOT certified, and possess or be pursuing state OT licensure, plus CPR certification. Minimum one year of experience is preferred. Travel, housing, and credentialing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited school.
• Must hold a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and have passed the NBCOT exam.
• Minimum one year of professional working experience.
• Current state license as an Occupational Therapist / OT or actively pursuing licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services and provide direct patient care.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with goals based on patient capacity and tolerance.
• Develop plan of care for each OT patient; provide skilled OT services per physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate and modify care to meet OT objectives.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
