Job summary

TalentBurst, Inc. seeks a travel Occupational Therapist in Waco, TX for a 13-week assignment. The role requires 40 hours per week, with dayshift 8 am–5 pm. You will evaluate and treat patients, document care, and coordinate with facility staff to implement therapy plans.

The position requires a Bachelor's in OT, AOTA certification, and current Texas licensure. Minimum 32 hrs/week guarantee is stated; travel assignment supports ongoing community education and inter-staff collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Certification according to the American Occupational Therapy Association.
• Licensed by the State in the designated geographic area.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure accuracy of patient care records for all patients on personal caseload.
• Report billing information to the Director of Occupational Therapy for patients on caseload.
• Provide direct patient care as prescribed, including evaluation and treatment planning.
• Report and interpret treatment results.
• Participate in development and presentation of in-services for the facility.
• Supervise support personnel in immediate work areas as appropriate.
• Perform clinical functions: screens, evaluations, treatment plans, and delivery per policies.
• Participate in patient-care meetings as appropriate.
• Assist with community education and public relations activities for the facility.
• Educate patients' families and staff on treatment plans and therapy goals.
• Coordinate with other staff to carry out the treatment plan.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy

Certification in accordance with the American Occupational Therapy Association

Licensed by the State in the designated geographic area in his/her respective therapy profession
