Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Carmichael, CA. The OT will work 36 hours per week across 8-hour days, with travel-friendly setups and state licensing requirements.

Ideal candidates have NBCOT-OTR certification, BLS, and 6 months of OT experience; new grads are encouraged to apply. The role emphasizes patient assessment, treatment planning, and timely documentation.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months OT experience; new grads welcome.
• Must have BLS and NBCOT-OTR with state licensing.
• OTs should be able to stand/walk long periods and have knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history, observe tasks, and assess needs.
• Evaluate patient condition and develop a treatment plan with goals.
• Assist patients with activities and adapt home/work environments as needed.
• Educate families and employers on accommodations and care.
• Document progress and ensure billing and reporting accuracy.
