Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Sioux City, IA. The role requires 1 year of OT experience (6 months acceptable for exceptional cases) and state licensing with BLS and NBCOT-OTR.

The travel OT will work 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, with dayshift scheduling. This position offers weekly pay and comprehensive benefits through TotalMed Allied.

Qualifications

• 1 year of OT experience required; new grads encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and NBCOT-OTR with state licensing.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history, ask questions, and observe tasks.
• Evaluate a patient's condition and needs.
• Develop a treatment plan with specific goals and activities.
• Help people with disabilities perform tasks.
• Assess home or workplace for improvements.
• Educate family and employer on accommodations.
• Recommend equipment and train on use.
• Record activities and progress for evaluations and billing.
• Provide timely documentation per state/insurance guidelines.
