Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Sheridan, Wyoming. The OT will work 40 hours per week, with 8-hour day shifts, in a travel position.

Candidates should have at least 6 months of OT experience, BLS, NBCOT-OTR, and state licensing; new grads encouraged to apply. The role includes evaluation, treatment planning, and collaboration with physicians.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of OT experience; new grads are welcome.
• BLS certification and NBCOT-OTR certification with state licensure are required.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history, observe tasks, and assess needs.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with specific goals and activities.
• Assist patients with daily tasks and potential home/workplace adaptations.
• Educate families and employers on accommodations and care.
• Document patient progress and prepare reports per guidelines.
