Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks an Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Boise, ID. The US Tech will perform ultrasound exams, ensure image quality, and support physicians with interpretations.

Requirements include ARDMS (RDMS OB/GYN), BLS, and 1 year of experience. Travel position includes 40 hours per week, 8-hour days, and a tax-free stipend may apply. Must be ready for patient care and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• BLS, ARDMS (RDMS OB/GYN) certification required.
• 1 year travel or hospital experience preferred.
• Must have 1 year of ultrasound tech experience and state licensing where required.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families about procedures.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and observe areas of concern.
• Prepare exam room and assist radiologists with ultrasound procedures.
• Report abnormalities to medical staff.
• Maintain and troubleshoot sonography equipment and records.
• Conduct scans and write reports; ensure accurate patient records.
• Use McKesson PACS for image storage and retrieval.
