Job summary

Signature HealthCARE seeks a detail-oriented Director of Nursing Float to lead nursing operations across sites. The role requires strong policy knowledge, regulatory compliance, and travel readiness with Monday–Friday site visits and weekly overnights.

Responsibilities include managing nursing operations during Director absence, coordinating resources, and supporting staff training to ensure high-quality resident care across facilities.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum of five years related experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel 80–90% with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing department operations in the absence of the facility Director of Nursing.
• Respond to incidents requiring additional resources or oversight to maintain care quality.
• Assist with development and delivery of job skills training and in-service education for nursing staff.
