Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Castro Valley, California.

The assignment runs for 13 weeks, at 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts. The nurse will care for newborns, provide vaccines and screens, and perform needed treatments and procedures. BLS/NRP and acute care experience are required, with travel readiness to California.

Qualifications

• RN with 1–2 years of acute care experience.
• BLS and NRP certifications required.
• Travel assignment in Castro Valley, CA for 13 weeks at 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic care to well babies.
• Provide light oxygen therapy to babies.
• Respond promptly to the needs of a newborn.
• Administer vaccinations and newborn screens per hospital policy.
• Administer treatments, tests and procedures.
