American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry travel assignment in Rutland, Vermont. You will float across hospital units, work 12-hour night shifts, and join a resource pool designed to cover Telemetry, PCU, MS, and ED holds.

The position runs 13 weeks at 36 hours per week with a pay package described as shift-based and tax-free stipends. Competencies include BLS, ACLS, dysrhythmia testing, Cerner EMR experience, and a valid VT license or compact license.

Qualifications

• Active VT or compact RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Must pass dysrhythmia testing.
• Must be comfortable floating to PCU, MS, and ED hold units.
• Tele, MS, PCU, and ED hold experience preferred.

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry position in a resource float pool, requiring flexibility to work in multiple units and BLS, ACLS, plus dysrhythmia testing.

Responsibilities

• Position is part of the hospital resource staff pool with true float responsibilities
• Cares for patients on Telemetry, Progressive Care, Medical/Oncology, Surgical M/S, and ER hold units
• 12-hour night shifts, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., 36 hours per week
• Assignment duration is 13 weeks
• Uses Cerner EMR (experience preferred)
• No local candidates accepted
• Own vehicle is recommended due to limited public transportation
• Will float among multiple hospital units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Orientation is provided on a biweekly basis
• Schedule requests are subject to manager approval
• Travelers must not have a local permanent address
• Must be able to explain or account for employment gaps over 30 days
• Encouraged to have reliable personal transportation due to inaccessible public transit

Requirements
