Responsibilities

• Telemetry monitoring, medication administration, patient assessments and care documentation.
• Manage patients with complex diagnoses including arrhythmias, sepsis, CHF, and renal failure in telemetry/high-acuity units.
• Must be comfortable floating within scope and participate in weekend/holiday/on-call rotations.

Job Summary

Telehealth Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) Nights 10/12/2026 to 03/01/2027. This position involves providing specialized telemetry nursing care within a high-acuity environment on night shifts. The role requires the ability to manage adult and geriatric patients with a variety of complex diagnoses, utilizing advanced monitoring skills and clinical judgment to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Shift: 3x12 Night shifts (1900-0730)
• Schedule: Nights, 36 hours per week minimum
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license for the state or a compact license, BLS, CPI, and NIHSS certification; Additional certifications include ACLS preferred.
• Responsibilities: Management of patients with complex diagnoses including arrhythmias, sepsis, CHF, and renal failure, with experience in telemetry and higher acuity units required. Responsibilities include telemetry monitoring, medication administration, patient assessments, and documenting care using designated charting systems.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, central line care/management, chest tubes (Emerson/PleurEvac), interpretation of dysrhythmias, and managing cardiac drips without titration.
• Additional Information: Must be comfortable floating within scope as needed, with the ability to handle higher acuity patients and participate in mandatory weekend rotations, holiday coverage, and on-call shifts as scheduled. Candidates should conform to facility policies regarding local rule and RTO requests, and be prepared to comply with onboarding requirements including labs within 72 hours of signing the contract.
