Job Summary:
Telemetry (TELE) Registered Nurse position is located in a short-term acute care facility. The role involves caring for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients on a designated stroke unit with JCAHO designation, with a focus on neurological and neurosurgical conditions. The nurse will provide high-quality patient care utilizing electronic charting systems and following specialty-specific protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license preferred), at least 1 year of nursing experience, experience with electronic charting using Epic, and a minimum of 6 months neuro experience. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in neuroscience or neurocritical care, proficiency in managing neurodiagnostics, and familiarity with stroke protocols
• Float: Float rotation may be required to meet unit needs
• Additional Information: Candidates must have neuro experience and certification in NIHSS; proficiency in interpreting dysrhythmias and managing neuro patients is essential. The position requires working three of the five major holidays, with scheduling requests to be submitted during application. This role involves caring for patients with neurological diagnoses, including stroke, trauma, and post-neurosurgery.
