Job Overview

Seeking an experienced MS/Telemetry RN to care for telemetry patients boarding in the Emergency Department while awaiting inpatient placement. This role requires strong cardiac telemetry skills and independent rhythm interpretation.

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years recent Telemetry RN experience (within last 6 months)
Strong cardiac telemetry background
Ability to read & interpret tele strips independently
Experience titrating cardiac drips

Testing Requirements

RELIAS Dysrhythmia Exam (pass within 48 hrs of offer, max 2 attempts)
Day-1 SIM Lab (Pass/Fail)

Patient Population

ED hold patients awaiting inpatient beds
Primarily MS/Telemetry cardiac patients
Will assist ED staff with vitals, IVs, and medications
Will not be primary RN for ED trauma patients

Scheduling

12-hour shifts (7a–7p or 7p–7a)
4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
Holiday rotation with permanent staff
No call

Floating

Required to float to Med/Surg, Tele, Overflow units and affiliated EDs as needed
