Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a background in Risk Management and Quality Improvement for a travel assignment in a hospital setting. This role will support patient safety initiatives, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement efforts across clinical departments.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and experienced in hospital risk management processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and analyze patient safety events
• Review incident reports and support root cause analysis (RCA) investigations
• Collaborate with clinical leadership to implement corrective action plans
• Monitor regulatory compliance and accreditation standards
• Support quality improvement initiatives and performance metrics
• Maintain documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Participate in interdisciplinary committees related to patient safety and quality
• Assist with policy development and process improvement

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (State of California or ability to obtain)
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Experience in hospital-based Risk Management, Patient Safety, or Quality Improvement
• Strong understanding of regulatory standards and compliance processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment

Schedule & Work Environment

• Day shift – 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Weekly time sheets
• Onsite hospital-based role
