Travel Nurse RN – Perioperative

Location: Dover‑Foxcroft, Maine

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with perioperative expertise to join our travel nursing team for a 13‑week assignment. The position requires a 40‑hour work week and 10‑hour day shifts in an operating room and post‑anesthesia care unit (PACU).

Responsibilities
  • Circulate in the operating room and manage all cases independently.
  • Monitor patients on cardiac monitors during procedures.
  • Provide postoperative care in the PACU.
  • Document, order medications, and communicate with the surgical team as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Maine.
  • Minimum 2 years of OR experience.
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification.
  • Pre‑operative experience and ability to circulate all cases.
  • Comfortable working with cardiac monitors and PACU patients.
  • Cerner EMR proficiency.
  • Willingness to fulfill call duties, weekend rotations, and possible holiday call.
