MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Pediatrics ER for a 13-week assignment in Aurora, Colorado. The RN will work 12-hour night shifts in a Pediatric ER setting, caring for patients from newborns to 18 years old, with 36 hours per week.

Requirements include an active RN license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, and BLS & ACLS certifications. Prior acute care experience in a transplant setting is listed as a qualification from the client facility.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize care using proper triage and rapid assessments.
• Assist in rapid decision-making and patient stabilization during emergencies.

Duties Responsibilities

Pediatric ER Nurses provides care to patients ranging from newborns to 18 years of age who need immediate care for traumas, injuries or illnesses.

Responsible for assessing, intervening and stabilizing a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.

Due to the range of medical conditions that may require urgent treatment and care, they must be knowledgeable about general as well as specific health issues.

Properly understand triage in order to prioritize injuries based on medical need.

Able to make quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients.
