Job Summary

Progressive Care Unit (PCU) registered nurse (RN) position at a short-term acute care facility. This role involves floating between various units including emergency department boarded patients, telemetry, and medical-surgical units. The RN will provide high-quality patient care, support clinical workflows, and may perform charge responsibilities on small units supporting staff needs, bed flow, and coordination.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 48 hours per week, starting from 10/20/2026 to 01/19/2027
• Required Qualifications: Current US or Canadian license, at least 3 years of clinical experience, 1 year of US healthcare experience preferred. Certification in ACLS and NIHSS required.
• Skills: BiPAP/CPAP management, Blood Product Administration, Cardiac Telemetry, Central line care/management, Chest tubes, Continuous Bladder Irrigation, CVA, Epidural analgesia, Feeding tube care, Heparin protocols, High Flow Nasal Cannula, ABG interpretation, Dysrhythmias interpretation, PPE, Insulin protocols, Management of cardiac and vasoactive drips, Telemetry monitoring, Tracheostomy care, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement, Wound Care, and more.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have US clinical experience; Canadian experience alone does not qualify. The role includes some charge responsibilities on small units staffed by 1-2 RNs supported by LPNs and CNAs. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays and request all RTO and scheduling preferences upfront.
