HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA in Atlantis, Florida is seeking a travel RN for the PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment with a 12-hour night shift, 35 hours per week. This travel position emphasizes high acuity cardiac care and requires critical care competencies.

Candidates must hold BLS and ACLS with experience in post-op CABG/TAVR/SAVR and heart failure management including inotropes.

Qualifications

• Must have BLS & ACLS.
• Post op care for CABG, TAVR, SAVR, MVC, pericardiocentesis.
• Heart failure care including inotropes, remodulin, milrinone, dopamine, dobutamine, bival.
• Respiratory care including high flow, BiPAP.
• Drains including pleurex drain, chest tubes, pigtail, chole drains.
• Cardiac rhythm knowledge and interpretation.

shift : 7:00PM - 7:00AM / 13 weeks

Position -Travel - RN - 3 South PCU (610) - HCA Florida JFK MC - 7:00PM - 7:00AM (1028586)

Must have: (includes certifications and special skills, ex: ACLS, BLS, NIH )

• BLS & ACLS
• Post op care for CABG, TAVR, SAVR, MVC, pericardiocentesis
• Heart failure care including inotropes, remodulin, milrinone, dopamine, dobutamine, bival
• Respiratory care including high flow, bipap
• Drains including pleurex drain, chest tubes, pigtail, chole drains
• Cardiac rhythm knowledge and interpretation

List Typical Procedures Performed on Unit(s):

• Central line removal, foley insertion and removal, NG tube placement, chest tube care

Additional Preferences: (ex: previous travel experience preferred, easily adaptable to fast paced unit, can function well independently)

• LVAD experience preferred
• Previous care of patients on inotropes
