Job summary

A leading healthcare staffing agency is seeking a Travel Nurse RN for the PCU in High Point, NC. This position requires at least 1 year of experience and necessary certifications such as BLS and ACLS. The role involves caring for patients with complex conditions such as strokes and heart failure, along with telemetry management. Candidates must be proficient in general care and demonstrate strong clinical skills. This position offers a travel contract with a competitive pay package based on 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a progressive care unit.
• Current nursing license and required certifications.
• Experience in telemetry and hemodynamic management.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for stroke, heart failure, and other intermediate diagnoses.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes.
• Manage responsibilities as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Manage hemodynamic infusions and meds per protocol.
• Collaborate with CNA, RT, and hospital staff to ensure patient safety.
