TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Lumberton, North Carolina. The assignment runs for 17 weeks, with 40 hours per week and 10-hour day shifts as a travel position through TotalMed RN.
Unit: PACU. Requires 1 year of travel experience and current BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI/MOAB certifications prior to submission. Epic EMR is used, and the nurse will float across the unit including Preop, Recovery and Discharge areas.

Skills required: Comfortability with the above case types – must have experience in ALL. Critical Care experience and competencies with ICU cases including hemodynamic drips and ventilated patients. Comfortability with Preop, Recovery and Discharge of patients. Comfortability to have boarded patients if hospital census is full and there are no inpatient beds available. IV insertion, ventilator training, epidural/PCA set up/initiation, initiation of blood product transfusions
Floating: Will float throughout the unit – Preop, PACU - Phase 1 and Phase 2
