American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for PACU in Cumming, GA. This 13-week assignment offers 40 hours per week, day shift, 8 hours per shift, with start date 01/19/2026. GA or compact RN license and 2 years in Pre-Op required.

Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pre-Operative position with 2 years of specialty experience and a GA or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Pre-Operative unit
• Day shift 5:30am-2:00pm, Monday through Friday
• 13-week contract assignment
• 8-hour shifts, 5 shifts per week
• No on-call required
• Duties include providing pre-operative nursing care and monitoring patient readiness for surgery
• Permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break before consideration
• RTO must be requested up front and cannot be changed after offer
• Candidates must have all credentials complete before starting
• Professional attire or scrubs required according to hospital policy

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Pre-Op experience required

• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius
