Orthopedic Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical Orthopedic Floor Night Shift Located in the region, this role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients on a medical-surgical orthopedic unit. The position supports the organizations mission to deliver exceptional patient care through collaborative and compassionate practices.

Job Details

• Shift: Nights, 12 hours shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, current BLS certification, minimum of 1-year recent acute care hospital experience in orthopedic or medical-surgical settings, and ability to work nights and weekends as needed
• Preferred Qualifications: Orthopedic or trauma background is preferred; Medical/Surgical experience is welcomed
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information:
  • Unit primarily handles patients with various orthopedic conditions, including drain removals, PICC line placements, and care for chest tubes, Hemovac drains, wound Vacs, JP drains, PCA, Foley catheters
  • Maintains patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6 as staffing permits
  • Utilizes Meditech electronic medical record system
  • Emphasizes positive, flexible, and collaborative personality traits for optimal fit

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
