Day Surgery / PACU Overview
Day Surgery
o Shift start: 6:00 AM
o First case: 7:30 AM
PACU
o Operates until approximately 11:30 PM
o Staffed with two nurses Monday–Friday
o On-call coverage after hours
PACU maintains one nurse on call
An OR nurse serves as the second backup
