Job Details

• Position Description: Unit notes indicate staffing for 6-7 open OR suites daily, with a caseload of 15-30 cases per day. Certification requirements include RN with BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CST with NBSTSA certification, along with BLS. The typical shift is 12 hours during nights, starting at 6:30 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, generally scheduled Monday through Friday with possible Saturday shifts.
• Required Qualifications: Current licensure as a registered nurse, with at least 2 years of operating room experience, and certifications including ACLS, BLS, and PALS. Experience with sterile processing and working in a trauma setting is preferred.
• Additional Requirements: Shift includes 12-hour night shifts with rotating call shifts covering weekdays and weekends. Use of Cerner charting system, sterile processing duties, and scrub responsibilities are required. Orientation will be provided for up to a week or until the nurse is comfortable.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, generally from 6:30 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
