American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN travel nurse to join our team in Mount Vernon, IL. The role requires active IL RN licensure and Epic EMR experience, with a busy 8-room hospital operating room and a weekday day schedule.

Qualifications

• Active IL RN license required.
• Minimum of 2 years Operating Room RN experience.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Experience with Epic EMR required.
• Not open to local candidates within a 70-mile radius.

Responsibilities

• Work in an 8-room hospital Operating Room setting.
• Care for pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
• Perform a variety of procedures including GYN, ortho, general, bariatrics, podiatry, ENT, vascular, endovascular, urology, and DaVinci robotic cases.
• Work day shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00-15:30 with possible earlier or later shifts.
• Weekend rotation roughly every 6th to 8th weekend.
• On-call with self-scheduling during weekdays and weekend/holiday calls.
• May float to sister facility as needed.
• Scrub and circulate for wide range of surgical cases.
• Epic EMR experience required.

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with an active IL license and Epic charting experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in an 8-room hospital Operating Room setting
• Patient population includes pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Performs a variety of surgical procedures including GYN, ortho, general, bariatrics, podiatry, ENT, vascular, endovascular, urology, and DaVinci robotic cases
• Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday, 7:00-15:30 with possible earlier or later shifts

• Floating may be required to a sister facility
