HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment at Reston Hospital Center in Reston, Virginia. The position requires 36 hours per week, typically 12-hour day shifts, with responsibilities including scrub and circulator roles across multiple OR suites and on-call coverage as needed.

Prior Level 2 trauma experience and experience in spine/orthopaedics strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Level 2 trauma experience or higher.
• Experience across orthopedics, neuro, general/GYN/urology, vascular, and thoracic.
• BLS and role-specific certifications as required by state/federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and Circulator duties for multiple OR rooms (18 rooms in unit information).
• Charge RN and OR support responsibilities.
• Participate in on-call coverage (approx. four 12-hour shifts per 8-week schedule).

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: Level 2 trauma experience; Experience across various surgical specialties including orthopedics (general, total joint, and spine), neuro, general/GYN/urology (including DaVinci), vascular, and thoracic.

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Level 2 or greater trauma experience

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• Expert spine and ortho skills

• Spinal fusion, total joint replacements, ortho trauma
• DaVinci Robot procedures (prostatectomy, colectomy, gastric bypass, etc.)
