Job Details

• Hours: 36 per week (12‑hour day shifts)

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing major surgeries.
• Document patient care using EPIC charting system.
• Assist in procedures including ALIF, anterior cervical fusion, craniotomy, heart, kidney, kyphoplasty, laminectomy/discectomy, laryngectomy, liver, lumbar fusion, lung, organ donation, orthopedic spine, radical neck dissection, tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, tracheostomy, Whipple, and XLIF.
• Provide on‑call coverage as required by unit needs.
• Maintain compliance with infection control protocols and licensing regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with surgical team and support staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
• Extensive experience in Hepatobiliary, Whipple, abdominal organ transplant, complex spine, ENT, neuro, and intrabdominal transplant procedures.
• Proficient skill set: ALIF, anterior cervical fusion, craniotomy, heart, kidney, kyphoplasty, laminectomy/discectomy, laryngectomy, liver, lumbar fusion, lung, organ donation, orthopedic spine, radical neck dissection, tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, tracheostomy, Whipple, XLIF.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS (required at submission).
• EPIC charting experience.
• MO or compact license required; IL license accepted at time of submission.
• Willingness to provide on‑call coverage as needed.
• Eligible to travel; local candidates within 75‑mile radius not accepted.
• Must meet face‑mask fit testing compliance requirements.
