Cross Country Nurses is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room in Cleveland, Ohio. This travel assignment places you in a busy level 1 academic medical center with 33 operating rooms, covering 12-hour day shifts on weekends and additional shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• RN license and active Ohio nursing license required.

Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) nurse position in a hospital located in Cleveland, Ohio. This role involves working in a busy, level 1 academic medical center with 33 operating rooms, offering diverse surgical services excluding burns. The staff member will cover a 12-hour weekend shift schedule, working Saturday and Sunday, with additional shifts on either Friday or Monday as required. The position may also require working during holiday shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, with additional shifts on either Friday or Monday depending on the operational needs. Minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid driver's license or state identification, possession of the UHS Skills Checklist, submission of the UHS submission packet, and completion of the UHS prior employment form.
• Preferred Qualifications: Scrubbing experience in the operating room is a plus.
• Additional Information: Experience in scrubbing and working during holidays is advantageous.Candidates should be prepared for a busy OR environment with a focus on maintaining high standards of patient care and safety. The role involves adhering to hospital protocols and providing excellent team support during surgical procedures.
